Domestic Violence Counselling
The lockdowns during the pandemic have greatly increased the incidence of domestic violence and abuse in relationships.
Domestic violence or abuse can happen to anyone and it is possible not to realise that you are in an abusive relationship. Domestic violence includes physical abuse, emotional, coercive control, gaslighting and sexual abuse in a relationship or between family members. It can happen against both women and men, and anybody can be the abuser. There are many forms that abuse can take but if you feel concerned about any aspect of your relationship, or if friends or relatives have asked about your relationship, then you might find it helpful to talk to someone to understand what is happening.
