Fight, flight and freeze

The fight-flight-freeze response is a physiological response that occurs when we are confronted with something that is frightening to us mentally or physically. Maybe you are on edge or your heart rate suddenly increases. Symptoms for fight-flight-freeze can vary considerably depending on the person. Your therapist will be able to work with you to understand better what is happening and together you will be able to find a way forward.
