Learning Difficulties Support & Therapy
A learning difficulties affects the way a person learns new things throughout their life, having specific problems processing certain informations and it can also effect memory, ability to focus and organisation skills. Unlike a learning disability, a learning difficulty does not affect general intelligence but it may be experienced alongside other conditions, for example, dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADD or ADHD.
A child or adult with a learning difficulty may require additional time, strategy, instruction or an opposite approach in learning. All this can be overcome, but obviously adding extra challenges to day-to-day life. Our therapists can help in the development of coping strategies and increase confidence and also help the family with support and better understanding.
We provide a safe and private place where you can talk confidentially. Our therapists will listen, be supportive and encouraging to help you to talk through your experiences and find ways to move forward.
