Paranoia
Paranoia is an instance or thought process which is believed to be heavily influenced by anxiety or fear that make you feel as if you are under threat even though there is no evidence that you are. You might have these thoughts all the time, or just occasionally when you are in a stressful situation and they can cause a lot of distress.
Lots of people experience mild paranoia at some point in their lives, developing suspicious thoughts and finding really hard to trust people. Talking to a therapist might help to realise that these thoughts are not justified or help not to mind them too much.
We provide a safe and private place where you can talk confidentially. Our therapists will listen, be supportive and encouraging to help you to talk through your experiences and find ways to move forward.
