Anger is considered to be a result of other feelings such as hurt, betrayal or loss etc. It is a very difficult experience for people to have as it often leads to shame and a sense of being unable to control feelings about situations, others and/or oneself. Anger is a natural reaction and emotion however we do have the possibility to learn how to manage it in a way that does not have a negative impact on our lives, work, health and relationships.
Psychotherapy and Counselling for Anger Management
One of the difficulties of anger can be the confusion that comes from a sense of not being able to do anything about the feelings. Counselling and psychotherapy can provide a safe space in which to explore anger and look for ways to manage and alleviate the symptoms.
