We won Hounslow Chamber of Commerce Micro Business Award for 2019/20

We are delighted to have been awarded "Micro Business of 2019/2020" by The Hounslow Chamber of Commerce in their annual business awards.

In giving the award they said [the award] "should go to this company who provide the right therapy, which local people need during lockdown, and cope with the challenges caused by working from home".

Renato Cristini our Co-Director said "this year the pandemic meant we had to work as a team in order to support our patients when it became impossible to continue with in person appointments. In consultation with our professional bodies, insurance providers and patients we were able to continue providing therapy in most instances.

We continue to provide most of our services online and are delighted to be supporting so many people using technology when many other services have not been able to continue.

It is excellent that the Hounslow Chamber have recognised our work us in this way".

UKCP and BACP registered Psychotherapist Nicholas Rose, fellow Co-Director said "as a team of therapists we wanted to be able to continue to support our patients, working online is not the same as having in person therapy but it is what it is and for the majority of our existing patients it meant that therapy could continue whilst it has also enabled many other people to start therapy when that would not have been possible.

We have found that some patients would still prefer in person therapy, whilst others are happy to continue online or prefer therapy online. For the moment we continue to errr on the side of caution and work online wherever possible but keep the options for in person sessions under constant review.

As a team we are delighted to recieve this award because it raises awareness of therapy and we hope reassures everybody that help is available."

Nicholas Rose is a psychotherapist registered with the UKCP working with adults both individually and their relationships.
